Branding
Mobikwik - Integrated Branding, UI & Campaign Design
Created digital campaigns, vibrant, high-visibility designs for Metro and related print collateral to strengthen brand recall among commuters.
Year :
2017
Industry :
Fintech
Client :
MobiKwik
Project Duration :
Job time

Problem
MobiKwik needed a cohesive design approach to strengthen its brand identity across multiple touchpoints-offline branding (Metro, OOH, print), app UI for new features, and high-impact digital campaigns. The challenge was to maintain brand consistency while also adapting designs for different mediums and audiences.

Research
Studied fintech competitors and their cross-channel design practices.
Reviewed offline (Metro/OOH) branding strategies to optimize visibility in high-traffic areas.
Analyzed in-app campaign design frameworks for communicating new features clearly.
Explored festive and emotional campaign designs to connect better with Indian users.

Solution
I created a unified design direction for MobiKwik that covered:
Metro & Print Branding
Designed bold, high-contrast visuals for Mumbai Metro wraps, panels, and station ads.
Ensured quick readability, strong visibility, and emotional connection through color and typography.
App UI & Feature Screens
Created app screens.
Integrated campaign visuals seamlessly into the product UI while maintaining clarity and UX flow.
Campaign Design & Strategy
Designed cross-channel campaigns (festivals, actor-led Pocket UPI promos, Zip offers).
Built creatives across social, app banners, mailers, and print ads.
Balanced storytelling + utility to boost adoption of new features.
Impact
Increased brand recall in urban offline spaces (via Metro branding).
Improved feature adoption (Pocket UPI, BNPL, Digital Gold) with clear and engaging UI visuals.
Delivered consistent brand identity across campaigns, app, and offline touchpoints.
Strengthened MobiKwik’s position as both a trustworthy fintech brand and an emotionally engaging player.
